Logistics Manager Needed in Lagos
A food company is seeking a dependable Logistics Manager who will be in charge of the supply chain’s entire management.
Brief
Chicken Wimpey Foods Limited is a local company with ties to foreign corporations specializing in distributing, logistics, and retailing agricultural and associated products.
You will be in charge of all aspects of supply chain management, including carrier selection, research into delivery techniques, budgeting, and storage.
The hired candidate will supervise daily operations and logistics staff.
Also, the successful candidate must have a high level of attention to detail.
Finally, you should have an in-depth understanding of logistics and inventory systems in addition to outstanding organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service in a strategic manner.
- Optimize and coordinate the complete order cycle and communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and customers.
- Consider quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery timeframes, transportation costs and efficiency.
- Arrange the warehouse, categorize the items, map out the routes, and process the shipments.
- Resolve any issues or complaints that arise.
- Oversee, coach, and train warehouse employees.
- Meet goals for cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness.
- Keep track of metrics and analyze data to assess performance and make adjustments,
- Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and ISO standards.
Key Requirements
- The potential candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Logistics Manager.
