A renowned bank in Nigeria is looking to recruit an HRBP.
Brief
First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank) is Nigeria’s largest financial services institution by total assets and gross earnings.
The Bank has over 750 branches and over 10 million customer accounts, offering a wide range of retail and corporate financial services.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in all aspects of human resources.
Also, they should feel at ease onboarding new candidates, gathering relevant background information and providing assistance to employees.
Finally, this applicant should collaborate closely with management to deliver employee training and identify strategies to boost employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist HCMD and the Technology business unit as the primary interaction.
- Help in identifying recruitment needs and strategic competencies to foresee crucial skill requirements.
- Assist new hires with their onboarding and confirmation processes.
- To enable Learning & Development to plan and prepare for such training, identify training needs using a mix of metrics.
- Train and plan with the user department.
- Monitor grievance, disciplinary issues, processes and provide the necessary support within the coverage area,
- Liaise with Talent Management to keep an eye on the personnel leaving the process in your coverage area.
- Visit business development offices/branches regularly to review company circumstances and HR issues on the spot.
- Ensure they have all necessary documents and perform at the expected level before confirming new personnel.
- Create activity reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Attending the Directorate’sDirectorate’s quarterly QPR and the BDO’sBDO’s monthly MPR regularly
- In the coverage area, coordinate the personnel leave process.
- Properly document all employee information.
