Job Description
We are on the lookout for a new Assistant Manager – System and Compliance to join our team. You will be managing a variety of company’s integrated systems. You must be a self-starter with outstanding innovative ideas and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager – System and Compliance
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the company’s integrated management systems.
- Develop and lead the implementation and promotion of an integrated management system that includes a proactive health and safety culture throughout the division/locations.
- Risk assessment, accident prevention, health programs, and acknowledged personal responsibility are part of the firm management system policies and procedures.
- Facilitate the maintenance and management of environmental health and safety, audit/inspection and the formulation of service excellence and safety awareness behaviours/performance standards and expectations for personnel.
- Maintain an Integrated Management System (IMS) audit program for health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Review all departments’ policies and processes, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for changes and best practices.
- Audit and Verify Our employees working on client/project locations. Observe and comply with safety guidelines.
- Encourage the use of company best practices and lessons learned.
- Promote the use of our quality management system (QMS) in all offices and disciplines.
Minimum Requirements for the Assistant Manager – System and Compliance role
- A B.A, BSC, HND in Human resources or any related discipline.
- 5–7 years of demonstrated experience in a health and safety function.
- An understanding of the industrial/manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Experience working in a unionized workplace.
- Certification is required.
- Must understand the MIS Process.

- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Excellent inspection and reporting abilities.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and time management.
- Patient and forceful, with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
