Account Officer needed in Lagos.
A medium-sized Solid Mineral Processing Company is looking to recruit account Officers to handle an organisation’s financial records. Account Officers oversee accounts, manage invoices, and ensure smooth transactions with clients.

Job Description
- To help with our financial department, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer.
- An Account Officer’s tasks include maintaining financial records up to date, inspecting invoices for mistakes, and resolving general account queries.
- You should have a basic understanding of accounting procedures, be willing to learn, and have excellent communication skills to succeed as an Account Officer.
- A good Account Officer should be able to provide exceptional client service while also keeping correct financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treasury reports and cash flow daily.
- The practice of trading statistics reports daily.
- Monthly Management Accounts preparation.
- Ensure the accuracy of the company’s internal records.
- Answer clients’ questions.
- Keep legal and statutory documents.
- Ensure that the company complies with minimum legal requirements.
- Prepare final accounts up to balance sheet in compliance with acceptable accounting standards.
- Formulate budgets and variance analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger and cost centre reporting.
- Develop internal controls and procedures.
- Protect the company’s contracting interests.
- Preparation of quarterly Board reports.
Key Requirements
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of cognate experience.

Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accountancy or Business Administration.
